Stumped

Please tell me what to do, because I don’t know anymore.

I updated my Flickr account

Phew! I spent a few good hours reorganizing my Flickr account. I deleted some old photos that were irelevant and outdated (to free more space) and uploaded some new photos that I took of Malacca.

I’ve decided to make more use of my Flickr account so I can share my photos with everyone. Therefore I’ve also rethought of the photos that I would upload to my Flickr account.

2. Photo opportunities
3. Travel photos

No cars or cheesy photos from now on.

I’m also thinking of getting a Pro account.

It’s funny…

Baby has been very busy this week. Instead of whining, I try to be supportive instead. It’s funny that even though we are in close proximity of each other every day, during this week I felt a little distant, disconnected from her.

We watched TV together after work today. I was thankful for the opportunity to spend time with her tonight and glad that her crazy schedule at work is slowing down.

Funk Carioca

Means “Funk from Rio”. This style of music has very fast beats and is mainly very electronic and very Latin American. Imagine a synthesis of Bossa Nova and Dance (loosely used) music and that’s pretty much how I’d describe the rapid tunes of Funk Carioca. Apparently, this genre hasn’t hit main stream yet but is slowly gaining popularity in the States. One Funk Carioca band that is paving the way for others is Bonde de Role. They’ve signed on a record deal with a small time record label. Check them out at their spot in myspace.

I got my little hands on some Funk Carioca tracks remixed by a popular artise in this genre of music, DJ Marlboro and I must say I’m addicted.

Give it a go, I know I want more!
